RE: Video explaining the Importance of Completion of SAMA Practice Cost Study Surveys

Dear Doctor,

By now you would have received various communications that the South African Medical Association (SAMA) has commissioned HealthMan, PPO Serve and Medical Practice Consulting (MPC) (“the consortium”) to conduct an independent Practice Cost Study on General Practitioners and Specialists in private practice.

Thus far over 300 responses have been received and captured. We are very grateful to the doctors who have taken the time to respond to our call for this important information.

If the studies are to be considered sufficiently representative to have any impact on policy and reimbursement discussions, we will need a larger response rate.

MPC has published a video explaining the importance for doctors of participating in this process.

Links to the survey details have been provided again in the SAMA 1 December newsletter.

Please complete all 3 surveys. This includes:
A) Scope of Practice Survey,
B) Financial Survey and
C) Salary Survey. Instructions were presented again in the SAMA 1 December newsletter.
