ANNOUNCEMENT: New SAMA Board Elected

Dear SAMA Member,

The South African Medical Association's (SAMA) elective National Council meeting was concluded this weekend (26-28 October 2018). I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the outgoing Board members for their leadership and guidance over the last four years.

Dr Angelique Coetzee was elected as the new Chairperson and to assist her, Dr Mvuyisi Mzukwa was elected as the Vice Chairperson. The rest of the Board members and their portfolios are as follows:

I wish to congratulate the new Board and wish them well in leading and unifying SAMA to achieve greater heights.
 
I would also like to congratulate Dr Rhulani Ngwenya who was elected as the Convenor of the Trade Union Task Team and Dr Richard Tuft for being voted the President-Elect (2019-2020).
