SAMA welcomes new President: Prof. HM Coovadia

The SAMA Board of Directors would like to sincerely thank Prof. Marina Xaba-Mokoena for the exceptional manner in which she provided guidance, leadership and oversight during her tenure as President of the Association. We wish her and her family well. Her leadership, wisdom, calm nature and sense of humour will always be remembered. 

We would like to welcome the incoming President Prof. HM Coovadia, who was inaugurated at the Presidential Dinner on Saturday, 27 October. Prof. Coovadia is a stalwart of the medical profession. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to give guidance and direction to the new board. Prof. Coovadia is an exceptional leader who has a strategic outlook on the medical profession and his inputs going forward, will not only benefit SAMA, but the entire medical community in the country.
